Festival Description
Good music has no borders and differences of genres: this is the central idea of this Festival, designed for all lovers of good music, and in particular young people of Siena. There is nothing better than the guitar — one of the most common and beloved instruments, to experience the creativity and the opening up of dialogue between cultures and different musical styles. The guitar gives voice to a role that it has always played — with the music, dialogue and confrontation, the assimilation of different concepts for innovative ideas to mature.
The Siena Guitar Festival brings together 5 top musicians or “speakers” of their own music and expression of personal creativity with their instruments. An evening celebrating a range of genres where it goes from intense acoustic sounds of matrix blues, folk, classical and Latin to those jazz. A very special evening, a tribute to the artful guitar — that will leave a mark in the hearts and memories of the participants.
